Paris Rosenthal to Read Dear Girl at Millennium Park 8/09/18
Paris Rosenthal will read her New York Times #1 bestselling book Dear Girl at the Family Fun Festival in Millennium Park, at Chase Promenade North on August 9th at 11:00 am. Following the reading, there will be a book signing and giveaway. People Magazine called the book "a heartwarming love letter written by the mother-daughter duo for the special girl in your life."
Paris grew up in Chicago and attends Quest University Canada near Vancouver. When she is not writing, she spends time with family, listens to music, plays sports, travels—and organizes. Her other work includes Project 1,2,3, a 365-day guided journal, and the forthcoming Dear Boy, which she wrote with her father, Jason Rosenthal.
August 9th is Amy Krouse Rosenthal Day in Chicago, named for the late Chicago writer and artist who passed away due to ovarian cancer in March 2017. She was also Paris's mother and co-author of Dear Girl. Paris says of their collaboration: “We started writing it in 2015, which was when she got diagnosed. We were able to finish everything while my mom was alive. The only thing she wasn’t around for was the release of the book itself — we completed everything as a team.”
